Things In My Mind...

For all you that are wondering what the ETTE is for. My cousin Lorin always would say that. For anyone that knows Lorin or even has never gotten to meet him, all know how much he loves the gospel and how strong his spirit still is. The meaning for ETTE is Endure To The End. Sitting there today next to Madison at Lorin's funereal, just killed me. To see this 8 year old lose her best friend in this whole world. Yes, it was hard for her to say goodbye and stop crying but something that started making me cry. Was my Uncle Craig told Madison that Lorin is still with us all we have to do is just look up and he is there. Which is 100% true. I just never saw it that way. Here I've been so mad at myself cause I also couldn't say goodbye to him because it hurt way to bad. I also lost one of my hero's and best friends. But Uncle Craig made me see that know matter what Lorin was still next to me. Yes, it may hurt that he is gone but he is still really there. Instead of talking to myself when things are wrong my best friend will be there to listen and help me out. I love Lorin so much. And know that I will see him again someday...

Update on David

Yesterday, David had his final test in baking. Which is one part of his learning at AIT. They had to cook some different things that his Sergeant had asked. After doing the cooking part they got to go study for awhile. Well last night after lights out David called me to say what he got on his final. It was 92 out of 100. Which is GREAT! Today they are starting a different part of the cooking class. Learning how to use the industrial stoves. That will take about 2 to 3 weeks. Then he'll have another final. After that its cooking out in the field, YEAH!! Then home for Christmas.

I lost 1 of my hero's & best friends

For all of you that know, my 18 year cousin has been fighting cancer for the last 4 or 5 months. But the last couple of days has been worse of all. Today around 4:30 I lost one of my biggest hero's and one of my best friends. He was so strong and I am grateful to him for everything he has shown me in my life and has shown my girls. We will always remember Lorin for the greatest person he is and the true spirit that he has. Please still remember to keep he's family in your prayers the next couple of days. We thank you all alot from the bottom of our hearts.
GOD BE WITH YOU TILL WE MEET AGAIN.

He's 1 Of My Biggest Hero's

If you all can keep Lorin and his family in your prayers that would be greatful to us. He isn't doing to good right now and he needs the love and support behind him. Thank you so much for the prayers and thoughts giving for him already. We are so greatful to you all... Thank you... The Football Team came by before their game to see Lorin. That night Lorin said he wanted to go to the game. He was there for just a little but it was wonderful to see him on the side lines with all of the other football members. Cheering them on. There's a song at the bottom for Lorin...

Update on the Family

Here is an update on us lamoreaux. Well lets start with David. He is doing a little bite better. He is getting alittle sick but his taking some medicine for it. He will be coming home for break on Dec. 20th and going back Jan 1st sometime. I am so happy to have him home for the girls first Christmas. Me now, lets see. I am doing better. I am still a little sick but hopefully getting over that soon. I am still running on Georgia time, hopefully that end's soon cause its killing me. The girls are doing great. They are back on Arizona time, which is great... Rosealie is crawling really funny, but at least she is crawling. I can at least say she has done that. She is talking alot more since we went up and saw Dr. Andy(Andy Nelson). She loves her Daddy!!! She wasn't to sure about him at first but then warmed up to him after she slept for awhile. Chloe has been crawling for a month or two. She loved Daddy when we were there. Right from the first. She has started saying Dada and Papa since we've been home. So Andy made Rosealie talk and the flight made Chloe talk... Which works out really great... The girls are now 9 months old and are getting so big and fast... This Christmas is their first one and daddy will be home to spend it with them without picture's. Then he will be home for their 1st birthday... But this is our little update on the family. There will be more to come as this month goes along...

GREAT News from David

David called me tonight and was talking to me about his first real day at Ft. Lee. There was of course getting moved into his company and how classes start on Monday and that AIT was only 8 weeks instead of 10 weeks. But he doesn't get to come home for Thanksgiving but gets to come home for Christmas which is great cause Steven & Laura will be down from Texas. But we got great news today. David's Drill Sergeant was so impressed with David that she made him the Team Leader over his platoon. Which is wonderful news!!!! He is so happy for that. He just wishes that the guys in his platoon just start doing what they are told to do... Which I would be mad too. I am so proud of him with everything that he has done with basic training and now this. I am so so proud...
